OUR MISSION STATEMENT To support brain
injured survivors, their families and caregivers by providing resources,
services, education and information that improves their quality of life.
Brainstormers was established in 1998 by Dr. and Mrs.
N. Camp, after he suffered a heart attack and sustained his brain injury.
Our group meets monthly (see below for date &
time) and has an attendance of approximately 15 members. Most of our
members are high functioning. Family members, caregivers and other interested
people are always needed as volunteers to support our mission.
Although we have many serious issues to discuss and
problem solve, we have a very active social calendar. We attend the
theater, go on outings such as Huntington Gardens, skiing, lawn bowling,
holiday parties, and we run a booth at local fairs and expos.
Our computer workshop is held before our regular meeting.
We use educational and rehabilitation software to support relearning
skills lost after a brain injury.
We are located in Glendale, CA. Our members come from
the San Gabriel and San Fernando Valley areas. We welcome new members
as our membership continues to grow. We look forward to hearing from
you!
There is no fee to join Brainstormers. We are supported
by your donations.
Please call 818-957-8089 to pre-register.
